Banana Bungalow on Broadway closed in November 1999 pending relocation. We are receiving all Banana Bungalow on Broadway Reservation requests so you're not left out in the cold, until they re-open.

Housed in a newly renovated five story walk up, Jazz on the Park contains over 200 beds in both dormitory and private style rooms. Views of Central Park and the city will have you signing "New York, New York."  The hostel offers comfortable and affordable accommodations, all in a clean, safe and friendly environment. Ideally located, Jazz on the Park is only blocks from Columbia University, the world's largest Gothic cathedral, St. John the Divine. The American Museum of Natural History is within walking distance; Lincoln Center and the Broadway theater District are only a short subway ride away.

Our hostel offers the best accommodation for budget travelers. Guests stay in newly furnished dormitory rooms that contain bleached pine bunk beds and lockers for their belongings, while sharing common bathrooms. Unlike most hostels, Jazz on the Park guests also receive complete linen and breakfast as part of their overnight stay. Rooms range in size from a two bedded room to 10-14 person rooms.
